Recently there have been an excess of pizza boxes and large items blocking the trash chute.  In the past the property management has provided instructions on how to properly dispose of the trash in the chutes, as well as in the recycling area.  We have witnessed that some are falling into old habits gain.  Please remember to break down your pizza boxes or other containers completely.  Also, do not put pizza boxes or other containers that are contaminated with food into the recycling containers, as the city will not collect them in that condition, plus they attract rodents and insects with old food stuck on them.  Keep in mind that the recycling is only picked up once a week and the trash twice a week.  It is important to remember that furniture, bathroom fixtures, styrofoam, computers, light bulbs, batteries, etc., are not considered recycling materials, so please do not dispose of them in the trash, chute or recycling areas.  Disposing of the above items incorrectly is costing the association, therefore you, extra money to deal with it.  In addition, we encourage and recommend that you dispose of your trash in sealed plastic bags to keep away the rodents and insects.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding the trash procedures, please contact Tri-State Enterprises, Inc.
