In the previous newsletter, we have clearly indicated that the entry to your unit, including the hallways, is an exclusive common area. Per instructions from the fire department, ALL objects (shoes, racks, plants, etc.) regardless of size must be removed as soon as possible, as they may be hazardous during an emergency evacuation. The Association bears the responsibility to enforce the rules. A notice will be issued to residents who are not in compliance and a copy of the notice will be included in the fire inspection in mid-August, which is required by the city.
