Tri-State Property Management would like to take this opportunity to thank those residents who have responded to their violation notices regarding the appearance of their balconies. As we strive to keep visual harmony within the community, please keep the following items in mind. During recent visits to the property, we have noticed some homeowners have begun to transform their balconies into a storage area. The changes made to the balconies are an eye sore, and are visible for others to see. Please note, storage of items other than plants on patios must not be visible from the ground. No item may be stored on the balcony, exceeding the height of the balcony. No storage bins, or cabinets may be installed without the approval of the Board of Directors. Please contact Tri-State Property Management, if you have any questions pertaining to the balcony, otherwise, those items in question will need to be removed. No plants on the balcony are permitted without a plant pot holder to hold the excess water. Plants without potholders can penetrate through the surface of the balcony, causing water marks. Residents who are non-compliant need to address this issue as soon as possible. In addition, no barbeques or propane gas containers may be stored on the balconies exceeding 2.7 liters in order to comply with the local fire codes. Those in violation will be referred to the Mountain View Fire Department. For additional information on the fire codes and community safety, contact the Mountain View Fire Department at 650.903.6395.
