In previous newsletters, and announcements, we have indicated that the metal storage cages found in each parking space were designed specifically to store personal items, whereas the parking space is only to be used for a parked vehicle. Storing items in the garage in front of the storage stalls is prohibited. Unfortunately, after repeated requests, many residents are still using their parking spaces as a storage area, which may cause theft, and is in violation of the CC&Rs. Due to the numerous warnings given, if unattended items are found in the parking spaces, they will be removed without any advance notice and the homeowners will be charged for the cost of storing and disposing of the items. Miscellaneous items left on the floor of the garage including motor oil or similar flammable fluids will be confiscated without warning due to the safety issues they may cause. We apologize for any inconvenience, however, the Association must be in compliance with all local fire codes. Thank you for your cooperation!
